For nearly 40 years, the World Cultures Institute (Maison des Cultures du Monde) has been promoting foreign cultures in France, protecting cultural diversity and sustaining intangible cultural heritage throughout the world. To carry out its missions, the World Cultures Institute ensures several activities including the programming of shows, in particular within the Festival de l'Imaginaire, exhibitions accompanied by mediation actions, conferences and training programs.
