The Wagogo live in the province of Dodoma, a plateau located in the heart of Tanzania. They are famous for their polyphonic songs accompanied on fiddles zeze and lamellaphones ilimba. These songs are performed here by Hukwe Ubi Zawose († 2003) who was a star of the Gogo singing in Tanzania.
The Kuria live on the edge of Lake Victoria. They are mostly cattle herders. Werema Masiaga Chacha sings four little village chronicles on a lyre litungu accompaniment.
