A place of confrontation

Founded by the sociologist Jean Duvignaud and directed by Chérif Khaznadar, Internationale de l'Imaginaire is a place of confrontation. Like the Maison des Cultures du Monde of which it is the complement, it seeks to make known the multiple figures of creation in the different regions of the contemporary world. Apart from doctrines and biases, it associates independent criticism, scientific or literary testimonies, the revision of heritages, information on the mutation of cultural forms. Is it not a question of revealing the tireless fertility of human resources? Each publication brings together, around a theme, writers, artists, specialists and people from the entertainment industry for a common consultation: so many assessments. Since 2008, the journal has focused on issues related to intangible cultural heritage. Co-edited with Babel (Actes Sud).
