The classical tradition from Aleppo, by one of the last great masters. The wasla is a vocal and instrumental suite composed of an instrumental introduction (sama'i), several vocal compositions (muwashshahat), vocal improvisations (layali) and instrumental improvisations (taqasim), 19th century songs (adwar) and finishing on lively dancing songs (qudud) typical of Aleppo tradition. This wasla is performed in one of the greatest Arab modes, maqam nahawand.
